Should I read this before I buy a Domain Name?
Only if you have never bought a domain name before.
Will I get a website with my Domain Name purchase?
No, you are purchasing only the Domain Name. You will have to build your own website. On this website the terms ‘domain’ and ‘domain name’ are used interchangeably.
Do you provide hosting or other services?
No, but you can get a great deal on hosting by clicking here.
Do you accept other payment methods besides Paypal?
Not at the moment but I’m working on it.
How will my domain name be transferred to me after the purchase?
You will signup for a free Godaddy.com account and I will “push” the domain into your account. This is a helpful link to describe the process for accepting the transfer at Godaddy. http://help.godaddy.com/article/1670
Is there a charge for shipping and handling?
No, Godaddy does not charge any fees for pushing a domain from one account to another.
If I use a different registrar can you transfer it to my other registrar?
Use the contact form and we can discuss it. There are usually fees and time requirement complications.
I paid but didn’t get my Domain Name, what happened?
Did you wait 48 hours from the time you provided your GoDaddy account# and the email address registered with Godaddy for that account to me for the transfer?
What happens if two people buy the same domain at the same time?
Unfortunately the software on my website doesn’t really take a domain out of the listing automatically so it is possible that this could happen. In the interest of fairness I can let the one who manages to get the paypal payment info to me first have it and refund the other one.
There is no ‘add cart’ button beside the Domain that I want. What is Bedo.com?
Some domains may be currently listed with Bido.com or with Ebay.com and the rules for listing them there prohibit my offering here at the same time. You can go and bid on the domain there by clicking the link above or you can wait and if it does not sell there, it will return here with the add to cart button.
